Blog Post- Presentation

I thought I could do a better job than today. I guess I was too nervous and I seemed to fail every single slide. I couldn't control and mouth and thought before I said. I had no idea what happened during the presentation and what ridiculous description I said. I felt like I might got a C on this presentation. This is the first time I presented like that. I thought I would do good if I do the way I always present in Public Speaking Class. I was so upset and I couldn't provide any extra information. However, my partner is fine in this project maybe. I couldn't remember what I speak cause my mind was like "lagging". I hope if my partner could help me. But SERIOUSLY no offense to her. It was just my job and I couldn't accomplish it. We had no problem making powerpoint. The ideas we thought were more complicated than what I spoke. Anyways, I will try to explain in my way--- that is, to have fun in presentation and peace.

Damn it! 1 point left to get A+

When I checked my score on Veracross, I always kind of angry and kind of happy. I was angry because only one point left to get an A+ in ESL American Culture. Also I got 91.6 for science. Anyways I hope the extra credits which I'll turn in tomorrow can help me.I was happy because I like my grade. Even though it was not so high or low, but I just like it. I did not realize that we had a party during the last class. Anyways I could get rid of that boring class about 30 minutes. That class was seriously boring. Guess what? No one talks during class time and whoever I tried to chat to, they were just nod head and listen to teacher. Even though I knew it is not a social class, but I just want someone to talk to me like Dylan san. Even they spoke before they spoke Chinese. Should I type" of course they won't talk in English if teachers are not there". However, I new summer vacation will now begin on Thursday.

Blog Post---- My hero

Before I mentioned about my hero, I want to talk about my opinions about heroes first. Heroes should have high acknowledgement to solve conflicts and ability to listen to people who want to suggest them. William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton is my hero. He was the only person I know who did not waste the money in exchequer and save as much as he could. He was  the 42th president and also the first president who was elected twice. He was the 7th person who was voted by American citizens in the magazine of "The Greatest American". Here are the few links about him.

On-line resource- Khan Academy

I was amazed about this website. At first I thought it would not be that specific and it’s a website you need to pay money for it. I dislike this website before I went in because I support textbooks and schools. Even though the text book is heavy. The reason why I support schools is because people can learn social skills in class. However, there is no doubt that education is more important than social class. A video with discussion at the bottom appeared after I click one of the items in a subject randomly. Even though it is extremely hard for me, but I can see the organization of every process clearly. I thought the lesson is written by chalk, but actually it is written by computer! There is a small discussion at the bottom of the lesson. Sometimes it is off topic such as want some IPOD?!. I wonder will the teacher or the organizer of this website answer my question. I think I will recommend elders to go on this website since it is free and useful. Also I think that even though you have to pay for the website education is still more important.

Blog Post- Merlin and the Dagons

My ideas of heroes is that they are generous to help people and they need incredible power. Heroes usually need to fight against the antagonists and save them so they can become original people. Some times a hero does not need to have power, but it needs to persuade other people so they can believe him. For instance, Naruto usually can persuade other people especially he is against the person he can not win. The enemy that has been persuaded usually is not the final boss of the plot. I believe author won't use a boss who does surrender easily.

I think king Midas can be a legend because archaeologist had spent a long time finding its grave. Midas had great organization and strong government. The most important  idea of King Midas is the special ability. He can turn everything he touched into gold included human. A person needs strong force and a unfortunate destiny to become a legend. Maniac can also be a legend too. He had succeeded in changing his destiny and he had a colorful future.

It is 7:15 already, get up!!! // Always wake up early/ Why you are keep sleeping?!/  Have you ever "enjoy" the noisy sound from your mom during your lovely and wonderful morning. I do usually, as a student I hat that totally. Even though I wake up late but I can finish my breakfast and prepare my books efficiently. Unlike my sister, who always wake up early but she is extremely slow like a snail. My mom worry about me been late so she yell at me. But I think I can control the time perfectly. Of course I will feel the pressure from my parents during my wonderful morning. However, if I keep "escape" from those noises, my mom has her "special" way to wake me up. She will open the curtain so sun light can pass throw it. I really hate that because it's ruined my only "peaceful" time during school day. However, I realize that I was stupid.

Before I talk about those characteristics and personality of heroes. I want to talk about the real-life heroes. I think there are many heroes in real life such as firefighter and polices. They have the probability to die in every events. But their ideas are different. They can sacrifice themselves to exchange citizens' life. I think this is the most important characteristic that every heroes have.An enthusiastic hero can be famous very fast. They had done successful jobs for saving people's life. It is quiet sad to imagine that families look at the corpse and with tears.I think a super hero can get power because of its destiny. The destiny can change a person's life. I was imagine that what happens if I have super power. I hope I can use Haki just like Luffy in One Piece.

If we couldn't fly, then travels and trips are tough for us to go. Have you ever imagine the azure sky with birds fly though? I hope I can fly and I'll fly through the top of the sky. The happiness and enjoyment can never be tell by words. The excitement of flying and the excitement of watching other people are different. Wright Brothers, who invented the first airplane. Have you ever thought that why do they invent airplanes? There is a story about a female who put wings with glue on it. Finally when she reach the top of the sky, the wings melt. So she drop from sky into sea. Her name is call Ikaros, which I like her a lots. She tried to challenge impossible events, although she failed she showed her volition. I think airplanes are a big success in history. People can fly cross other countries. There are benefits, which means that there are also some problems in it. Such as terrorists surprise attack or airplane accidents.

The first time the music touched my life is the first OP song in One Piece. In my memory the music expresses the feeling of " friendship" and "excitement". It's a happy song which I like a lot. Before I listen to this song I usually listen to classic. I dislike classic because I have been forced to listen to classic. However, it will be better if I listen to OP songs with images.

The Origin of the Seasons

The nature is the sound from the happiness from gods. Disasters are the sadness from gods. I know it's weird or ridiculous to describe in my way. However, I am going to talk about the seasons in my country. I live in Formosa , which also known as Taiwan. It is a small island but people are nice to each other unless you try to make them furious. Taiwan is usually warm, but as cold as Japan during winter. Taiwan has a lots of tasty fruits such as banana or pineapple. I like the seasons in Taiwan because it's not like other country such as Bali Island or Swiss. Countries which are too hot or extremely cold. I wonder why there are different kind of seasons. Why does the world has different seasons in same time? I believe people will say it is because we have different longitude. But I believe that god can actually control the entire world....

Poems in motion: Billy Collins

In this video, there are lots of animals or cities created by Billy. The pen which Billy uses shows his imagination to create interesting stuffs and give them dreams. For instance, the last sentence he says that" the city I never been". From this video, we can know his stories have life. A brand new- dreamful life which is not ridiculous. I think Billy can be a great poem writer because of his creativity to let kids feel happier than reading other boring poems.

Most of people like to be famous. If you become famous. then you can earn a lots of money from advertisement and TV shows. People will know you very fast, and they will yell at your name when you go anywhere. They will follow you and you might think you are awesome. After you adapt this kind of life, your personality is going to change. You will become an arrogant person and no one likes you anymore. There is also few problems if you become famous. Bullies will kidnap you or sell you into traffickers and force you to do any tough works. To prevent those dangers, you need security personnel. You have to spend money to pay them, if you treat them badly you can have troubles. For instance, security personnel can call bullies to kidnap you. They can also hack into your computer and steal personal information such as your photos or secrets in computer. If I have the right to choose be famous or not, I would rather to become a normal citizen who sleeps all day.

What is Hiku + example

Before we learn Hiku, we have to learn what is a poem. A poem is a motion of express feelings. It can be the feeling from reader or the speaker. How can poem express feelings? It depends on your speaking skills. Hiku is a type of poem which is about nature. How much do you "observe" nature? In what ways do you observe? Hiku can also be in any subject you like. It has three lines, quiet short. There are 5  syllables in first line, 7  syllables is second line, and 5 syllables in third line.  A syllable is a unit into a word which is divided. For instance, the word " beautiful " has 3  syllables. It pronounces "Beau-ti-ful".

Unusual Culture Experience

To be honest, I do not have many culture experiences which are unusual. However, let me tell you a unusual experience when I was ten. I was in American to visit my cousins, Frank and Jeffery. They did not learn any Chinese cultures even though they are Asians. We met them in the morning, we had a nice breakfast.  It was eggs and hamburger, which included cheese and I was afraid to eat it. I ignore the gigantic hamburger and decided to eat eggs first. But my cousins told me to eat burgers first, which I was confused. They had a weird habit which they thought the first food they ate was the most delicious food to them. What should I do now? I ate the burger quickly and drank water. I was suffering when they talked happily! However, that was not the worse event I had today. Later on we went to a basketball court to play, there were a lots of gigantic people which scared me totally. I would imagine that those people punch me in face. So I was shocked and kept looked at their eyes. Suddenly there was a man stared at me, and my eyes turns away quickly. Soon seemed like he talked to his friend about me because he kept pointed at me. I think they were full of racism, but I could not go in front and said any swear words. However, we had a lots of fun during these three hours. When we went back to my uncle's house, we started to have dinner. I was extremely happy because I thought this day was over. When we start to eat, my cousin Frank put  the chopsticks straightly. My dad was furious and pointed at him, all of us were shocked. He yelled at Frank and my uncle that they disrespected gods. Soon he left, we did not have any conversation after my dad left. After the dinner, we left his house and went to hotel. The day ended with sadness.

My animal---- turffalo(??!!

  For the combination of two animals, I decide to choose " turffalo". It  is the combination of  turtle and buffalo. When I took a shower, I thought that who is the most powerful animal and which animals have the most toughest protection. Soon I think of buffalo is the strongest and turtle has strong protection. Why? Because I looked at the images which were fantastic. Also I have a bad memory about the word " buffalo" for unknown reasons. However, the creature I create is for wars. It can be the best warrior because we do not have to sacrifice humans especially families. They walk fast, horn is their weapon. Perhaps there are powerful weapons such as tank or rifles ( HK-23 or CV-47 ). They can use their shells for protection. But here comes a question, horns can not attack enemies in a far distance, how can they attack enemies efficiently? The solution I think of is     scientists put a type of gas which is poisonous to humans but not turffalos and put it in their shells. The gas will spread about ten minutes after. So scientists and all the people will not be in a plight in this poisonous in this gas. I hope f this creature is real, I will buy a lot of them. I hope I can protect Taiwan from the evil and immoral China... but I do not think it works perfectly.

Mashup - from the movie " Green Lantern"

Movie Mashup : The most important sentence and also it's the only sentence in this movie. The sentence " Owo, I know right! woo~" is the mashup from Green Lantern. I think this sentence are mostly in movies which good people beat up antagonist.
